What is the Quick Ratio and best use for it?

The Quick Ratio (QR), also known as the β€œacid test,” is a liquidity ratio that measures a company’s ability to use short-term liquid assets to meet its short-term obligations. Focusing on assets that can be quickly converted to cash is what makes this ratio different to the Current Ratio.
